i think so but my concern is with the ES shifter on my 450 i bought cycra hand gards over the summer and thay work great but........there only mounted in 1 spot (1/2 way down the bar , not on the end ) and thay dont have the feel of the 2 point mount like my old eserbics i had on my old XR250r

Right, same thing on mine with the es shifter.
I was looking at my buddies last week on his 450r and hes running powermadds with my same soft moose guards over top of them. It looks like elephant ears but they seem to work great. After I saw that I wanted a set of hard guards. I just dont know what I want, it has to fit through all the stock stuff and the "halo" I welded to the bars to house my projector light.

I guess once I get a set I could always make my own mount and weld it on as well.

HAHA right you are.
What im saying is, just use the hard plastic piece and make my own bracket out of steel. Id imagine if anybody could rig up something like that it would be me haha.
Im gonna have to get ahold of the kid I sold them to, I dont think hes using them anymore.

Hey tsk. Yes I got them from dennis kirk. Make sure the mounting # is the one you get. It was a price of cake. I bought the other kit first and I could not get it to work

I just ordered the star series + mount kit. Has anybody bought the extension or flare that goes with the star series guards. Just wondering if either option was worth buying.
