Gotcha. I built one of those from 3/16" steel. Won't break but it'll rip the dogs off the shock once they get dirty and sticky.

thats probably how thick mine is to. so far it ain't broke. my ex-wife was a real fata$$ so i always had to run the vtx on the hardest setting. then when it was me alone i ran it on the lowest setting. hence, ex-wife. i used to tell her she couldn't ride cause she was hard on my clutch and brakes. she didn't as funny as i did, of course i was serious...

My bad. From just pictures the shock on the Foreman looked like the same adjustment set up as the Rubicon. A screwdriver works fine on the Rubi.

Not a good picture, but you see the little recess, almost looks like a set screw should be there? That is where you put the screwdriver and use it as a lever.

You'd think that they'd do the upsell stuff down there. California alone has as many people as all of Canada basically.

However, they sell boatloads of Rubicons into the oil-patch up here. Guys do lease-spraying, surveying, and seismic with them and it is one of the easiest to run so the little better spring rate and adjustable shock helps move more of them out the door I guess. Plus they are one of the few bikes that have proven they'll do 20-30,000Kms on a routine basis. Lots of Hondas in the oil/gas sector.

there's a race track out by me that runs foreman 500's for one summer then sells them. they average 25,000 miles on them. running on pavement all the time. most of them have got a topend job once or twice but the guys there beat the he!! out of them
