Default trouble with gowarn

my warn plow, winch and assorted attachment pieces arrived today for my 2012 foreman. only problem is that warn hasnt made the winch mount or front mount for the plow yet. so they sent me stuff for the 2011 which does not fit.
the salesman was 100% sure the kit would fit the 2012. when i called to tell them they said i should have called the manufacturer to make sure they were making what i needed.
so i did call the manufacturer (not gowarn) and they wont be making the mounts for the 2012 until the middle of next month.

go warn

Ouch that sucks!....I called Warn first, before buying my Winch and was advised Gowarn.com had Crappy tech support!

and if I had any problems with Gowarn them to call them back (Warn.com) and that is who get me the rebate check back so fast!

I would ask if they could send you one right off the line and over night it to you FREE of charge, Because you had to wait!

or ask for some type of Perk, to making the waiting a bit more bearable!

you never know until you ask....sure can't hurt!

PS: Welcome to the Machine

KFI products sales a 2012 Foreman winch mounting plate. Around 49 bucks, I think.

update. got the warn winch mount and front plow mount for my 2012 foreman. thought my troubles were over. not so fast.

after putting the winch mount on and off a couple of times and in between putting the front plow mount on and off a couple of times, i realized that you cant use the warn winch mount and the warn front plow mount together. thats if you want to use all of the parts. stupid me, thinking i could use all of the parts for both mounts.

so after many hours of experimentation and a phone call to warn, i tried (with warn's blessing) leaving off the main u bolts holding the winch mount to the frame. and what do you know, they both now fit. but what am i left with?

it might be ok but who knows. warn doesn't.

Can you get any pictures? Might be able to give you a few ideas as if it will work or ways to make it work.

thanks for the offer to help. i got the plow hooked up and its working. the missing u bolts for the winch mount doesnt seem to make it unstable. will see what happens when i use it. i didnt know what to take pictures of. everything is so jammed in there its hard to tell whats what. i definitely do not recommend the warn set up for the 2012 foreman.
