So i am doing a bit of a check with people other places other than the great white north lol, my 2012 has a tick at idle (755km and 75hrs), when it makes the noise it stumbles a bit, just slight, i work for the local honda dealer and we have put a new cam, timing chain and tensioner in the unit and the noise is still there also we checked valve seats just to confirm that one wasnt loose from factory (seen it before). so we figure its the nature of the beast and something to do with the efi idle being low and the decompresser just engaging. curious if anyone else has noticed this noise from there '12 foreman at idle after the machine is all warmed up.

so the machine doesn't do it when the motor is cold??

Ive never heard mine do that and i just hit 75 hours on mine yesterday.

nope when cold she is quiet but the idle is also higher. its only after you run it and warm it up then ride it and come to a stop the machine will start *ticking* and its low down by the cam.

oh and under throttle and half throttle it doesnt pop or miss at all, only idle. maybe im just too picky about noises but that maybe comes from being a journeyman lol

You sure its not the exhaust cooling down after its gotten hot from a ride?

Only thing I have noticed is the radiator squealing when at at higher mid range RPM's

its not the exhaust, its definately lower engine, no one else has this noise? and the squealing Bliu might be grass in your front rotors, happens to me all the time lol.

No I cleaned everything. It is the radiator. I know several people have had the same noise.
