I just bought a 06' 500ES that only had 16 hours and 53 hours on it
.Rode it this weekend and when I hit the 100 miles mark the oil change light came on. I checked the oil and it looks brand new. Should I change the oil just in case or will I be ok? Also how do I get the light to turn off if I change the oil. |

The first service interval is at the 100 mile mark. I recommend changing oil and filter pretty soon. Oil life is reduced during break in of a new motor. To reset the oil light I think you hold the ODO button and the button right underneath it for a couple of seconds with the ignition on. You should have a 600 mile interval for oil changes after this first one.
