Default Bought It Today!

Well, I went and rode the 2010 Rancher AT today, thinking it was gonna be the one I buy before I even rode it. Needless to say, I was Very disappointed in the way that thing shifted in the automatic mode! It was WAY too jerky for me! Didn't like it at all...

But, I didn't come back home empty handed. I wanted a red 2011 Foreman 500 electric shift, but the dealer had sold all of them. Being that it's the "no tax" weekend here in Louisiana, the dealer had sold 82 atvs (Honda and Yamahas combined but a LOT more of the Hondas) as of 4:30 PM today!

He had one Foreman left. It was an '09 Foreman 500 4x4 ES, red with Power Steering, a 2500 lb. Warn RT 25 winch, Stick Stopper c.v. boot guards, and a "Strong Made" (by Savant Manufacturing) rear drop down mini basket rack all already installed on the bike! After some negotiation, he gave me a **** of a deal on it. Would have been out of my mind to pass it up!!

It feels EXCELLENT to be back in the Honda Family once again!!

Awesome, Travis! Pics when you have a chance. Think you did much better having a few mods already taken care of and as with anything new the markup is higher than it's worth.

The shifting on the AT smooths out. After I switched to Amsoil on mine, I normally just hear the RPM change, unless I'm getting on it hard.

awesome...you'll be pleased with the 09'. The mods that are on it will be very useful for you when riding. I have the same one except mine is the half camo / half tan color, with alot of mods already. You can't beat the honda foreman brother....you'll be very happy you went with that one. Congrats!!!

Another 09 Green here...I love it & you will too!

make sure their is no water on the inside of the LCD, in 09 their was a bunch that went out that way, I recon they didn't seal good, mine & a brother of mine both bought 09's and both of them had the same water inside the Lcd's
..they will change it out under warranty!

another thing is the front wheel bearings are NOT sealed bearings, their only sealed on one side (yea kinda Stupid huh!)......unless these things are regional only, but it will not hurt to find out, as I was told they were sealed before I bought mine and it was not true they only lasted about 500 miles

Oh no friend! This one here will NOT be put in the mud! Ain't tearing this one up. Got it to ride my little cousins on, and to deer and hog hunt off of. As long as the title stays in my name, it will NEVER EVER have a snorkle, lift kit, or big tires on it. Later on, I may put some 26" Maxxis Zillas or ITP Mudlites on it but that's it! I do like the ITP SS212 black rims too though...
