I know what you mean, you couldnt give me a belt drive. Ok, maybe you could give me one but I would instantly trade it in for a Honda lol. It just feels like your bouncing on the end of a rubberband. I love my gears, I guess you could call me a gearhead.

I agree. Every one I have been around has has problems. As far as polaris goes, i'm in the military and every polaris we get has had nothing but problems. Most of them need new engines every few months not to mention all the electrical problems. That made my choice simple when I decided to go out and buy another atv.

Ya. the weakest link between the motor and axle is a rubber band..

when I was still riding my old 88 300TRX 2wd I had to tow a friends new 2000 polaris 500 back to the ATV trailer twice, he blew the belt both times. once it took out the camoed plasstic belt cover as well. $$$$$

1st time for riding to slow??? so the dealer told him..
2nd time he jumped on.... took off hitting full throttle with the park brake on... fun fun fun ,

not to mention the 25 grease zerts you have to grease often, yuck........... <_< ~ dawg
