I thought Id pin this up since its such a common question for those of you doing this project.
The information below is quoted from "toodeep" Vent lines: -You'll have the 2 vents on the carb -front and rear differential -cooling fan and rear brake -For the air box lid I just get a new o-ring/seal for it and used 2 on it and it makes it a tight fit. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also I will add that the use of dielectrice greese is recomended on all electrical connections |

Id like to add to this one while your playing with the hoses replace your crankcase vent with a longer piece of hose and make three wraps around your carb or something above your airbox. This stops you from filling your crankcase with water if you do happen to swamp your bike. All you have to do if swamped is drain your carb and drain your airbox. You should be back online in less than 5 min.

You might have seen some of my posts then, i simply cut the stock intake in front of the resonator and fit 2 inch piping and out to the same place, just didnt want to disturb the air box.......could tell after a few runs that I was running a little lean so i adjusted on the air/fuel mixture screw a little and it seems to burn fine now with no engine problems. Other than that, don't know what to tell you, we weren't supposed to have to mess with jetting since nothing really changed. Now, your air filter is going to get dustier/dirtier faster sucking air out in the open like we have it, may need to keep dibs on keeping it clean sooner, have you addressed that yet perhaps?
