If you are a big guy I would go for the foreman...they just fit better! In fact my 2 cents is for the Foreman anyway! You are getting the same/ a lttile more power with no mod.

Give and take. the 420 had the weak rear end (by chance) and the 500 has the weak transmission (by chance). I added the by chance just because some have problems and some don't. I was plenty happy when I had the 500 Foreman and just now I'm testing out a 420. For me they both felt good but the 420 has a sportier feel to it. Power wise the 500 might have had a touch more torque but that might change with a few upgrades. I have ridden an upgraded 500 so I know what to compare against.
