I have a nice red foreman 500 and I am a big hunter. I was thinking about doing a camo wrap on it like this www.camo4u.com - has anyone here attempted this? How hard is it to do?

I actually just talked with a guy who does this. He said to use a product called camoclad. He has done several atv's and utv's and said the product is great and holds up against abuse. He offered to do mine for $100 plus the cost of a couple rolls of the wrap. I will probably hold off for a year or more and let my plastic take some abuse before I cover it up.

we used camo wraps to cover my brothers 07 foreman and i think it turned out pretty sweet. i thought it was going to be a bitch to do but once we started it went smooth. a little heating/stretching and a lot of cutting made it look pretty good IMO.

and the nice part is that if one spot does peel off or get ripped, all you have to do is cut a patch of camowrap for it and it blends nicely. so far the pressure washer dosnt harm it either..you just have to keep a reasonable distance away while spraying.

My brother in law just bought an older forman and some of the black plastic is damaged/missing on left rear fender. Does the camo wrap have any structural strength or would that need to be fixed before adding? I should clarify - I was looking at what is offered on ebay. I believe they are the clip on type. His seat is also in bad condition and the plastic has lost it's shine so adding this kit would kill about 3 birds with 1 stone assuming it would cover the big chunk of missing plastic.

Camo wraps are a vinyl application (think sticker). It would add no structural integrity and it is not used to repair seating surfaces. You can pick up new vinyl material for the seats cheap at a fabric store, lots of colors too.
