I'm trying to figure how much oil our Forman takes. The book says 2.5 quarts. That’s 2 and a half quarts right. Well I changed it today and put 2.5quarts in and it’s over the high level a little bit is that OK?

That is the correct amout with a filter change.

idle the bike for a few seconds the recheck the fluid level. make sure you are not screwing the dipstick in to check the fluid level. If you do, it will read high.

Thanks for the info. I check it 2 minutes after the bike was shut off. Then I recheck it about an hour after sitting. It read a little high after sitting. So I guess just check it in two minutes or so after the bike off.
