I have a 2016 foreman with 200 miles on it. I snorkled it myself and the snorkel worked much better than expected. No water got into the air box and no leaks. I rode into water up to my handle bars no problem. I got out of the water after about 6 hours of heavy river riding and the 4x4 and diff light started blinking, then 4x4 would not engage, but the next day it still was blinking almost 20 hours later but after an hour of riding stopped blinking and it would work and engage again, any ideas?
You probably have water/grit up in your 4wd actuator. The 2016's seem to be having some bugs in them with the 4wd system. There's also a relay under the gas tank that isn't sealed well, and the 4wd acuator on the front diff can get mud/water in it.
I haven't seen one up close in person, but have seen a lot of people commenting on the issues and the potential fixes.
Thanks I will try to find the actuator and see if I can somehow seal it better, I dielectric grease the relays and siliconed the cover that went over the relays so I doubt they are still and issue, thata for that information!
