Max tire size on 2016

I have 2016 foreman, I've been looking at tires bc the stocks just won't cut it for mid we ride in. I'm wondering how big a tire I can fit under there without it rubbing, without a lift, and what max size with lift if anyone knows

27's are about max IMO and keep the power usable. That depends on the tire of course. As far as breaking stuff, that is more in thumb control (rider) than the tire.

I was planning on buying a set of used ITP rims - Backs 27x11-12
and Fronts 27x9-12 tomorrow. Wondering if I'll need to do any mods to the fenders to get them to fit or do you think it will be as simple as bolt-on.?

Those look like wheels for an IRS bike, so you'll have to use spacers on the rears. Other than that they should fit fine.

as long as off set of the new wheels are correct, for your yr and model !
the OD of the tire will NOT be an issue, 27's fit NO fender rub or need to do anything!
