I've got a 2013 foreman 500 and am in the process of installing a set of camoplast tracks. The instructions say to remove the factory skidplate and install the plate supplied. Trouble is the plate doesn't cover the entire bottom leaving the front and rear diff and other things exposed. Has anybody installed one of these plates over top of the existing skidplate.
Thanks for any help.
Drill holes and install the plate under the factory or if your keeping it on cut just enough off so the plate will sandwich the front factory plate in place. I've done it both ways, both work in St fine.
I have the Camoplast 4S system on my Foreman 2012 500es. Last winter I took the factory shields off as the instructions stated. This year I just mounted the Camo mounting plate/shield right over the factory shield and every thing fits just fine. Now all I need is snow cause running it on dry ground with tracks is a pain.
