i have a set of stock maxxi's tires off my 2012 foreman for sale.... they have about 2 hours of ride time on them and a total of 10 miles.... looking for 175 dollars for them.... if your interested pm me.... thanks

I see that you have new tires and wheels on your Foreman. Are the tires offered for sale mounted on the stock steel wheels? Thanks.

unfortunetaly not man, i sold the wheels to another member so just got the tires

Ok. I'll admit I'm new to these modern ATVs as compared to what I had to ride 25 years ago. But why is everyone do quick to replace the OE maxxis tires. They are pretty aggressive looking to me for the most part. The deep mud paddle tires seem so overkill for anything other than mud. I plan to use my '12 Forman for yard chores and pulling out firewood I thought a set if turf tires might be better than the stock offerings? What is it about the stock tires that makes them "suck" so bad for general use. I'm all ears.

stockers are only 2ply where aftermarket tires can be 6 or 8 ply and will resist punctures alot better . also if you do ride in the mud and swamps the stockers are a lame tire traction wise (my 28in EDLs have 2inch tall lugs to digggggggggg)

yea man if your just doing basic yard work and stuff the stockers run nice and smooth, but for trail riding it's only a matter of time before you slice it and that sucks when your out there having fun..... iv'e had these stocker for sale for like a month and a half and no one wants them that should tell you something... lol

x2 on that... One ride and I managed to destroy the maxxis stockers on the wifes quad, it might have been intentional <_<
Running 26" 589's now.
