relocating oil cooler - Honda Foreman Forums : Rubicon, Rincon, Rancher and Recon Forum

I gota purty good idea on how to do it and I know tha fan is mainly to cool tha motor plus I got an extra fan ima mount over tha oil cooler. What's tha best way to extent my oil lines, any input is appreciated!

My main reason for doin this is becuz tha mud around here is unforgiving an its so hard to clean tha oil cooler after a ride.

if i was going to do this i would get some oil resistance hose and extend them using something like this with some hose clamps

Just slice it into my stock hoses? I figure napa wuld have what I need.

sure why not cut the hoses? you can buy used oil lines off e-bay for $20 if you ever want to put it back to stock .

I tell ya what man, I got two extra oil coolers with tha lines culd I use them lines and buy some bolts and nuts to connect em together an use some high temp rtv where I bolt em up?

yeah!!! that's why they have it located where it is. the fan pulls air through the cooler and pushes air onto the engine. it kills two birds with one stone. you'll have to fab up a second fan.

Ok I see, I've got an extra fan, I was gettin ready to measure an buildin my brackets but I decided id wait. I had it mocked up it jus looks funky lol.
