Has anyone built a stroker/big bore engine out of the 450s ? And if you had, was the stock carb able to flow enough air to satisfy the demands of the engine at high RPMs. I know it has to be jetted, its the total air flow Im wondering about.

I've built 2 BBK/Stroker 450 motors and the stock carb works fine. Jetted properly they provide plenty of power. I can put my bike in 2nd gear, len back and stab the throttle and it'll stand straight up. Not sure how high of RPM you're talking about because the Foreman engine design is not really a high RPM engine.

How much money are you talking to make the 450 a BBK stroker kit?

Depends on how you actually do it. If you use the crankshaft that's already in the motor and you do all of it at one time (without doing any other internal parts replacements/repairs), I'd say it would probably run you around $1,600. On my current BBK/Stroker bike, I started with a new crankshaft, and did some other internal upgrades and repairs. I've got $2K+ in the motor as it sits.
