450s final drive and axle shaft.
I just finished the tear down on my 2001 foreman. and the rear axle shaft has no splines left and the splines in the final drive are worn down. after calling the dealer and getting the price for a new drive and shaft the quote is 971.27 plus tax.
I called Snow line to see if they have a used one. They don't have one for a 2001 but they do for a 1999. Does anyone know what years are compatible with the 2001 450S? |

The 99 will be the same. Check ebay for aftermarket parts, I haven't priced them but Rich is probably getting the links as I type this anyways.

98 to 2004 foreman 450 will work
ebay has them alot cheeper honda foreman 450 rear differential | eBay honda foreman 450 rear axle | eBay

Thanks guys for the quick reply.
I just got off the phone with a used parts place here in southern ontario and they have a final drive and rear axle shaft that are from a 1999 450 for a hole lot less than the dealer. Gonna drive up on Friday with my old one just to make sure. |
