foreman 450 only have 2 adjustments on the carb one being the air fuel screw right underneath the carb next to the heater with the wires coming out of it. the other being the idle speed adjustment screw on the right its a block knob. the air fuel mixture screw should be 2 5/8 turns out. if you not getting any gas into the cylinder but have spark compression and the carb is good maybe the skirt on the piston is broke that happened to me and would not suck any fuel in. have you tried dumping fuel into the cylinder like a soda bottle cap full and see if it will fire????

One trick I always try is ( and works on just adout everything with a carb) is to pull the air box lid off, the airfilter out, then cover the air inlet completley with your hand then try to start it. If the carb is not stopped up it should wet your had with gas and probably try to fire. If your hand does not get wet with gas Quickly, you have carb problems. Also if there is not a lot of suction on your hand you could have a bad intake, poor compression, intake valves out of adjustment and so on. Hope this helps

Take the plug out and put your finger over it. Have someone pull it over fast. It should blow your finger off if it doesnt you have compression problems. I blew my 98' foreman up one night (11pm) it wasn't fun.

After reading all of the post Ill add 2 more suggestions because I dont see it mentioned.
Do you have the choke on? I know none of the foremans Ive owned recently would start without pulling the choke. (Unless it was warm)

Secondly, Have you tried pushing the primer button on the bottom of the carb? My Rubicon would require doing this if it had sat a while.
These are probably things you have already done but I didnt see it mentioned so Im just throwing it out there.

Welcome to the forum Bobby. We like to keep all the responses in the threads so others can use it in the future. Have you checked to make sure your getting fire at the plug?
