Default rear brake cable install

On my 2004 I thought my brakes were bad but had them checked and tech said they were OK. Got a new cable. How do I install it?

Thanks

to the forum...Is the cable broke? I guess I'm asking how is it that it's the cable causing the issue?

Default brake cable install

The cable is streched but still works. Just can't figure out what to remove to get to theend of the cable.

Remove the plastic over the fuel tank and you can route the cable through pretty easy.

I duct taped mine end for end and then I carefully pulled it through. I think I wound my cable adjustment sleeve all the way out and then removed the cable through the slot on the brake lever end. Did that make sense.
