I was in the woods today on a hunting trip. I had a lot of trouble getting my 99 Foreman 450ES to start. I managed to get it running and get it out of the woods, but there was a HUGE amount of smell of gasoline, and the tank ran dry. Fortunately the reserve got me and the ATV to my truck.
I took it to my car mechanic buddy who looked and said, "Your choke cable boot where it connects to the carb is busted in two places."
He said I'd have to get the part from Honda.
My question is--has anyone here replaced that boot, and is it difficult to do? (I'm not a mechanic, but I'm handy with tools).
