Default Warn Winch Control

Hi
I have a 2002 Honda 400FW with a warn winch. The control is a round butterfly style (which was mounted on the front rack) and it has quit so I need to replace it. I would like to replace it with the rocker style but without modifying the plastic cover on the handle bars it is difficult. I am wondering what others have done to mount the switch as I am sure many others have went this way. Ideas anyone??

Man your quick rich, but I think he needs the contactor or whatever you call it also.

Venom winch has a upgrade kit with everything you need to go with a mini rocker switch style with a contactor. It comes with everything including wiring for I think around $30. You should be able to mount the bracket under the cover and have the switch just below it.

Hey thanks guys. I never even thought of mounting it under with the switch bellow. I don't think I have seen that type of mount either. I will have to get one ordered.
Thanks Again

Hi Guys
I picked up an upgrade kit and installed it yesterday. It works great and the mini toggle is mounted below the handle bars with the mount that was supplied. Nice and tidy. Now the winch is classed as a 2500.
Thanks again
