Default Headlight Bulbs

Does anyone know if the lower headlight bulbs on a 98 foreman are a h6m bulb base I am wanting to upgrade to Hids .I have already slotted the upper headlight to accept a h4 bulb and installed a Krypton bulb. It is much better than original.May upgrade it to a hid also.

I have done some searching it seems that the lighting subject has come up enough times that there would be some definitive answers. I have not found it for the older Foremans.Since so many people would love to know perhaps one of our leading members would clarify this subject with a list of bulbs and years they fit and perhaps the upgrades that can be done.

what makes you think we would do that ?
i can tell you for a fact that THERE ARE NO DIRECT FIT HID BULBS THAT FIT THE OLDER HONDAS .
there is a company called eagle eys that make a plug n play for the rincon, foreman and rubicon 500 . but i would rather spend the 40 bucks to build them then $179 to buy the kit .....

The sharing of knowledge and experience is what the forum is about. If you know what bulb type that is used.I am just saying if would be no different than telling someone how get a carb cleaned or some trick that helps in a repair. My comment to leading members is saying within their wealth of experience and knowledge maybe someone knew
