Hi, I'm a newby. Guilty. Just curious if anyone out there can give me some direction for a tire size. I have a 400 and i want to go with the biggest tires without lifting or rubbing. Anything will help. Thanks

welcome, we don't have newbies here, we have people who join and are glad to have them, lots of info on various tire and wheels sizes along with pros and cons in the forum, you won't be disappointed there, in fact you might find too much info and need a drink to absorb it all. Again, welcome!

Hey thanks for the reply's I just got back from a trip didn't notice anyone wrote. (rich450es) I have 11" on f and b. however thinking of just getting new 12" wheels with new tires. I was thinking maybe 27x12-12 in the back and 26x10-12 on front. Will this ride funny? My problem is I'm too tall and I need a bit of height. I really don't want to damage the cv joints by putting on a lift unless I absolutely have to. Would anyone suggest a wheel spacer? And it sounds like (tskfreak) may have been help with the 26" wheels. I can't decide between kenda executioners and kenda bear claws... I dont want a rough ride all the time. But concerned that the bear claws won't bite.

You have to keep the same height of tire in the front and the rear. If the suspension is tired I would put new springs on it or spring spacers to get the height back up some. I had one I put 25 mudlite xl on for the guy and it rubbed bad because the suspension was very tired. Springs made it all right but he went ahead and did the lift also so there would be no rubbing in the future. The Bclaw is a good all around tire with good traction. If you ride thick mud a lot they might ball up, I haven't really put mine through any really thick stuff.
