Okay, beyfor I dig in and put my 400 on the rear rack and take off the front cover. I would like to have an idea of what to be looking for. Basically, what my scooter is doing is, missing fifth gear.

i up shift from 1st through 4th fine. albeit each shift is hard. then when I get to fifth, I shift the shift lever but 5th never engages, just stays in fourth.

What should i be looking for.
