98 foreman 400 fuse blowing help!!!
replaced rectifier after it burned up about two months ago. rode everyday since has ran great no problems. has recently started blowing op. fan fuse and everything shuts down. no lights no power no nothing. sometimes i can put new fuse in and it does ok for a while sometimes blows in a few minutes. now it is blowing as soon as i touch the fuse to the terminals. if i unhook solid red wire on key switch fuse stops blowing, but also stops charging battery. the oil light stays on constantly but will occasionally go off for few minutes at a time. fan does not kick on ever. have tried disconecting fan to see if it was shorting when trying to kick on. not it. can not find any obvious bad wires or grounds. any suggestions would be greatly apprectiated!
