97 foreman 400 wont run Help Please
I bought a rancher 420 in july and have only drove my foreman a few times since then. Well today I was having a hard time getting it to start so I put in new premium gas and after ahile it finally started. But it will only run with the choke on now and it wants to die whenever I give it very much gas while in gear and spits and sputters until I put it back in neutral and let it idle. I tried draining the carb already, any other thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

welcome to the forum
the jets in the carb are dirty and need to be cleaned (clean the whole carb)

carb is gummed up from sitting. draining the bowl won't help you. clean it.
