I installed my new carb last night, hooked up the throttle cable and choke cable, etc. Got new gas, new spark plug, installed the air cleaner. Checked battery voltage and it's good. Checked to make sure I was getting a spark off the plug and I am. Went to start it and it won't start! I held the starter for a good 20 secs about 10 times and she won't start up. Before I tore everything down, it started right up, but now all I get is the starter motor cranking like normal and huffing and puffing out the exhaust but it won't light up and go to stay running. What should I check? I do have the front and rear body covers off so there's no lights connected but that shouldn't make a difference right? Also, on my last try to start it, I hit the starter button and all I heard was a buzz and little pop from where the battery is and now I don't get anything at all, no neutral light or anything. Could I have popped a fuse? Even if that's the problem, they were good when I first started trying to start it and it still wouldn't start. I also used the primer on the carb pushing it in a few times to get more fuel in but it didn't help. Any ideas?
