Default Breather Tube Question

I've completely torn down my '96 400 and originally there was a snorkel and a bunch of breather tubes coming up along it out the front fender. I want to replace all the breather tubes. How many total should there be?? I didn't count them before I took it apart I think there's 1 for the carb, 3 for the brakes (2 front and 1 rear), 2 for the front and rear differentials, and 1 for the cooling fan making 7 total?

Can I route them all to the front along the snorkel? Or where would they all originally go to if there wasn't a snorkle?

And what type/size of tube should I use?

Thanks!

Leaving the snorkel on, but don't plan on taking it in water or deep mud. Guess I could find some tubing from Lowe's or Home Depot that will fit and that should work.

If I remember right most of them are 3/16 and the carb is 1/4, cut off a little piece and take it with you to be positive though (it's been a while since I did one).

This.

I only have 3 extended breathers now, the front and rear diff and the breather coming off the side of the motor and they are in the 3rd head light. I need to do the carb breather next though.

dont run the carb breather into the snorkel though. some guys do it and they work good. others (like me) do it and the bike wont run worth a sh!t
