Default 96 Foreman Build

I just picked up a 1996 Foreman 400 4x4 last night. It is in pretty decent shape, runs awesome and the rear brakes work (fronts don't). I changed the oil, oil filter, air filter, and spark plug today and am looking for suggestions on some things.

First off I will be using this ATV for mostly mud use at the local mud holes and for some trail riding.

I need to buy tires, wheels, and a couple of other minor things for it. I plan on doing the disk brake conversion to the front of it but just not quite yet. I ordered front wheel bearings and a CV boot repair kit already as well. I want some suggestions on what I should get for wheels and tires. I need a 12" wheel for the disk brake conversion so Any recommendation on wheels? I want something cheap and aluminum, nothing fancy. I need to know what backspacing I should run on say a 7" wide wheel. Should I get the same for the front and the rear? Also What tires? The ones on there now are bald and are a 25x8-11 on the front and 25x10-11 on the rear. I was looking at the Kenda executioners and look to be a good bang for the buck tire. I am not looking to lift it at all so nothing bigger than a 25.

Sorry for all the questions but I am looking to get this done asap lol. Thanks in advance!

you can get some 12" factory aluminum rims pretty cheap off if craigslist or something. i think there stock rincon wheels. and i run 27" outlaws and they are some of the best mud tires out there. and they're actually a pretty easy riding tire. not too rough for regular trail riding. one thing to look for is that not all tires are "true" to there size. if you want to stay with some 25" tires. i'd look at the 25" outlaws.

if you find a set of rincon wheels you are going to need 2 1/2 wheele spacers on the back

I was speaking more of an aftermarket wheel. And I am not a big fan of wheel spacers on anything lol. But hey if I find a set I may take a look at them either way.

with the rubicon wheel you wouldn't need the wheel spacers. there aluminum. but the aluminum rincon wheels would need the wheel spacers. Rich corrected me.

Here was what I was thinking of...

https://www.denniskirk.com/ams/machi...prd/551744.sku

So if I were to get this wheel, I assume I would need 2 2+5 offset and 2 5+2 offset wheels to match the width front to rear. Also when looking at those offsets, which one is which? (2+5 for example, would that be 2" from the front face of the wheel to the mounting surface or vice versa?)
