What is the easiest wat to remove a starter on a trx 300

Welcome to the forum. You need to remove the 5 bolts (8mm socket) holding the reduction gear cover on (left side of motor straight out from the starter). Remove the upper reduction gear, remove the positive cable on the starter (10mm wrench) and the 2 bolts holding the starter to the crankcase (depending on the year either a 10 or 8 mm). The bolt to the back side has the ground cable to it, just make sure you don't forget that when going back together.

alright i removed the cover and the gear but cant pull the starter out it is hitting on the case do i have to remove the whole side cover to the generator and everything just to get it out all the way?

No, there is just enough room to angle it out without removing the cover. Slide it back a touch (so it's free from the case) angle it up and finish pushing it back. You should be able to twist/angle it away from the case and pull it towards you and it will be out.
