A friend of mine has a 2000 400 foreman and the muffler is shot. He wants to stay stock for the noise. A new muffler is pretty spendy and he cant find a used one. I found a used muffler off of a 97 400. The local dealer said thatthey have different part numbers, they look sikilair when I looked at schematics.
Will the muffler from a 97 work on a 2000? |

Sure looks like it will. Replacing just the muffler or the entire exhaust? There are good, low noise after market mufflers availible...
