this is what im planning on doing to my wifes 96 400 putting a 450 jug and my 400 head on the bike will this work i heard that these atv parts are somewhat interchangable does anyone know if this will be a problem and another thing what is valve adj for this thanks......

yes it will bolt up fine. If you have the time and money I would have the head ported. The 400 has smaller ports than on a 450 head.

The valve clearance is (.006 in) on both the exhaust and intake.
